Restoring this monkey close to its original condition was possible because much of the original fur remained. 

This monkey required a soapy bath, thorough cleaning, and painstaking fur restoration. 

Repeated combing and brushing revealed more fur existed than was originally apparent, allowing us to restore him to his original look.

Noah's Monkey - Extensive Repair

This monkey was loved down to his stuffing. Damage included: 

  • Numerous holes in the body's fabric and seams. 

  • Twisted and matted hair 

  • Old patches tearing the fabric

  • Lack of fur to restore 

We were faced with: 

  • The lack of availability of matching fabric and fur.

  • The owner did not want the stuffing to change or for the monkey to be overstuffed. 

The owner gave us permission to use coordinating fur in the repair.
