Bamse the Bear
From cherished childhood toy to wedding gift
Bamse the Bear is 30 years old. His owner was getting married and his mother wanted to restore the beloved bear as a wedding gift. She wanted Bamse to become a family heirloom loved by the next generation of children.

As a child, his owner always tucked Bamse away to keep him safe, so damage to the beloved bear was minimal. However he was in need of substantial refreshing and a new nose.
His condition
Bamse's fur was twisted and matted.
Years had caused the ends of the fur to "fuse" together so that it was no longer fluffy.
His nose needed to be repaired with new thread.
