The Case of Riley's Cat

Severe damage and successful repair

Poor Riley's Cat. She was the dogs lunch. This is the most extreme damage we have seen, but we were able to restore her beauty and make a little girl very happy.

Severely damaged cat with missing eye, half its face gone, fur damaged.

Her Condition â€‹â€‹

Half her face and an eye were missing.

The fur had been chewed. It was torn, matted and missing with rips and tears throughout.

Stuffing was missin.g

Here is what we did
Stuffed cat lost half its face to dog damage.

Facial Reconstruction

We reconstructed the structure of the face, added an eye, repaired the nose, added new stuffing and fabric, added whisker, repaired the feet, and added new fur. We also repaired torn seams. Then bathed, combed, and refreshed the existing body and tail.

Repairing and Restoring Fur

We were unable to find fur that was an exact match -  but we came very close. We found nearly identical mint green and pink fur. We cut pink fur to match the size of the existing polka dots and hand stitched them to the green fur to achieve a texture and look that matched the rest of the cat.
