Right Proper Restoration & Repair is dedicated to the delicate restoration, repair, and refreshing of aged stuffed animals. The passage of time can leave an animal torn, threadbare, or just looking old and tired and we are here to restore them.
Our skill and expertise carefully reattaches arms, legs, and ears, restores beautiful expressions, and refreshes or replaces fur and fabric.
We also repair and remake clothing and accessories upon request.
Not every animal can be restored to its original look, but each one can be made beautiful once again. This is what we love to do.

The Magic of Renovation & Repair
Nothing gives us greater joy than watching a beloved stuffed animal come back to life. These two monkeys are a perfect expression of that.

One needed extensive repair, the other restoration.

With one we needed to carefully add materials, with the other we needed to gently coax out what was already there.

Adult clothing can carry the reminders of a special occasion, momentous event, or a loved one who has passed.

The question is what to do with the clothing you have kept for years?
We have a meaningful answer.
We turn that clothing into memory bears, a unique and beautiful way to preserve precious memories.
Baby Clothing
You may have kept your children's baby clothes with the intent of passing them down. However, the hand-me-downs aren't as welcome as you thought they would be.

You can still pass them down - in the form of a memory bear. ​

This bear was made by our founder for her son, using a pair of his toddler pants and a shirt.

The bear is approximately 14 inches long.

All size 12-18 months.
Each bear requires several pieces of clothing for construction, and the exact number depends on the size of the clothing.

Approximately:
Newborn: 5-6 pieces
6-12 months: 4-6
12-18 months: 3-4 pieces ​

Adult Clothing
Dad's special button down shirt. The dress Mom wore to a wedding.
The jeans Mom and Dad wore when they met.
All of these and many more types of clothing can be turned into adult memory bears.
This bear was made by our founder using the floor-length dress she wore to her son's wedding. It is approximately 14 inches long.

The bear itself was made from the dress lining.

​The bear's clothing - dress, bloomers, and jacket, were made from the dress itself.
Several pieces of adult clothing may be required for construction. Buttons, zippers and heavy seams can reduce the amount of fabric usable in any one piece. ​​​
